Hadspen H2 - Historical Chart
Year: 1862
Print Size: 45cm x 68cm
This plan of survey is the work of District Surveyor Gwynne, who surveyed this area of Hadspen over a two week period in 1862. The plan depicts an area on the opposite side of the South Esk River to historic Entally House, the family home of Thomas Reibey, Premier of Tasmania in 1876-1877. Originally on the main road between Launceston and Devonport, the township was bypassed in the 1980s.
