An interesting survey plan of proposed 10 acre allotments in and around the town of Oatlands, referred to as 'The Glebe'. The survey carried out in 1857, shows Anstey Street, which is the only remaining 'monument' against the existing Town layout today. Note the position of South Street where Interlaken Road (C527) currently is. Most of the 10 acre alloments looked like they were selling for between 30-40 pounds in circa 1860.
