Published by the Transport Commission (Railway Branch) at a scale of 1:700 000 (11.05 miles to 1 inch) with hillshading, this map portrays the government railway lines of the Main Line, Derwent Valley Line , Fingal Line, North Eastern Line, Mole Creek Line and the Western Line to Stanley and Smithton. The private Emu Bay Railway Company’s Line is also shown to Zeehan. Included is an inset showing Hobart’s suburban stations.
