Another fine example of the work of Surveyor Richard Hall from the mid 1800s, this nicely coloured survey plan of fifteen lots for sale in George Town features a smaller scale inset of the larger blocks prior to subdivision. It's hard to imagine a time when you could purchase an acre of river frontage for a mere £6 - that's less than A$10 in today's currency.
